Pelin Batu graduated from Istanbul University Econometrics and started her career at Garanti Bank Credit Cards General Management in 1998 and took part in establishment of Garanti Payment Systems.

She was in charge of Finance, MIS, Regional Management and Business Development departments.

She was in charge also during the establishment of the Portfolio Management – ​​CRM team, and she was appointed as the manager of the team in 2013. Besides, she took charge of Customer Growth and Campaign Management departments.

As of January 2022, she is Executive Vice President and reponsible of Marketing - Portfolio Management And Brand Partnership at Garanti BBVA Payment Systems.

Pelin Batu is married and she has one child.
